This policy sets out what you may and may not do when using Axis — the portal, the API, and the
SIM cards and eSIM profiles you manage through it. It forms part of your agreement with Zentari Networks Ltd
(“Zentari”, “we”, “us”) and supplements the Acceptable Use section of our
Terms of Service.
If the two conflict, the Terms of Service take priority.
It applies to every person with an Axis login and to every SIM on your account. Your organisation (the “Customer”)
is responsible for making sure everyone it gives access to follows it.
- Each login is for one named person. Don't share logins — invite colleagues from Tenant settings instead, so each person has their own access and their own audit trail.
- Two-factor authentication is required on every account. Keep your authenticator device and recovery codes secure, and don't try to get around it.
- Workspace admins are responsible for who has access and at what level. Remove people promptly when they leave or no longer need access.
- Tell us straight away at support@zentarinetworks.com if you think an account, API key or SIM has been compromised.
- You are responsible for everything done with your logins and API keys, including actions that change SIMs or incur charges.
- Treat your API key like a password. Keep it on your servers — never put it in device firmware, mobile apps, browser code or public code repositories.
- If a key may have been exposed, generate a new one in Tenant settings (this replaces the old key immediately) and let us know.
- Keep request volumes reasonable, handle errors properly and back off when asked to. Don't load-test or stress-test Axis without our written agreement.
You must not:
- Try to access another customer’s data, or any part of Axis you haven’t been given access to.
- Probe, scan or penetration-test Axis, or try to get around its security or rate limits, without our written permission.
- Copy, reverse engineer or scrape the portal, or use it to build a competing product.
- Resell or give third parties access to Axis itself, unless we’ve agreed a reseller arrangement in writing.
- Upload or send anything unlawful or malicious through Axis, including in SIM tags, webhook endpoints or support requests.
Our SIMs are for business IoT and machine-to-machine use. You must not use them:
- To provide a consumer mobile service, or resell them to consumers, unless we’ve agreed this in writing.
- In SIM boxes, GSM gateways or any equipment that routes or terminates voice calls or SMS on behalf of others, or to bypass network interconnection charges.
- To send spam, bulk unsolicited SMS, or messages or calls that are fraudulent, abusive or harassing.
- In devices that aren’t approved for use on UK and EU networks, or that are configured in ways that harm the network — for example repeatedly connecting and disconnecting, or generating excessive signalling.
- For anything unlawful, or in breach of the policies of the network operators we use.
You must also:
- Not tamper with, copy or clone SIM cards or eSIM profiles, and keep eSIM activation QR codes, PINs and PUKs confidential.
- Keep within the data allowances, fair-use limits and roaming terms in your tariff or service schedule.
- Report lost or stolen SIMs, or devices containing them, so we can bar them. You are responsible for usage until you tell us.
Watchdog rules, usage alerts and automatic suspension are tools to help you control spend — they are not a guarantee.
Usage data comes from our network partners and can arrive with a delay, so a SIM can go over a threshold before an alert is
sent or a suspension takes effect. You are responsible for all charges for usage on your SIMs, including usage that happens before
an alert or suspension, and for any usage on SIMs you have exempted from the Watchdog.
A SIM with a fixed public IP address can be reached from the internet. You are responsible for securing the devices behind it
(for example, changing default passwords and keeping firmware up to date), and must not use it to host open relays, proxies or
other services that could be used to abuse the internet. The addresses remain ours or our network partner’s, and may be
reassigned once removed from your SIM.
We monitor the network records for your SIMs (such as data volumes, connection times and the networks used) and how Axis is used,
to bill you correctly, protect the network and detect fraud or misuse. If we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, we may
suspend or bar affected SIMs, revoke API keys or suspend access to Axis. Where we can, we’ll contact you first; where there is a
risk to the network, to other customers, or of fraud or illegal activity, we may act immediately and tell you afterwards.
Serious or repeated breaches may lead to termination under our Terms of Service.
We may update this policy. We’ll give you notice of material changes by email or in Axis, and you’ll be asked to accept
the updated version the next time you sign in.
